JSS Public School, HBR Layout conducted a farewell for students of class 10. Students reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed how difficult it was to go out of the portals of their alma mater.

Vidwan K L. Srinivasan, chairman and founder of Sri Surabharathi Sanskrit and cultural foundation was the esteemed chief guest for the function. Mrs Kalpana Kumar, our ex-nursery in-charge teacher, was the special invitee. The Principal-in charge welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering.

The program began by invoking God. Pooja was performed to God Saraswathi and Swamiji. Chief Guest along with the Principal lit the lamp followed by other teachers. The students then lit the lamp of knowledge presenting Guruvandana. They also took a pledge to carry on the traditions of the institution while making positive contributions to society.

The chief Guest gave an inspiring speech and blessed the children with good prospects in future. Principal-in charge Mrs Radha Murthy wished and advised the children to take the path of righteousness and wished success in all their future endeavors. Mrs Kalpana Kumar blessed the children and wished the students the best-performance in their exams.

Hall tickets and mementoes were handed over to children. The function ended with a sumptuous meal with the parents.
