National Science day was celebrated at school on March 1st 2021. The theme for this year was “Future of STI-Impacts on Education , Skills and Work.

The programme was presided by Principal Mrs. Radha Murthy. She emphasised the importance of learning Pure Science and Maths. The women scientists felicitated by the nation were also remembered.

Students of Std VIII and IX conducted the programme. Speech was delivered on the significance of National Science day, and the life history and Scientific achievements of Sir C V Raman were also highlighted.

As part of art integration in Science, a quiz programme was conducted which included dumb charades and Pictionary. A group song on Science concept “Electromagnetic Spectrum” was also performed.

Students appreciated the Nation’s achievement in developing Covid Vaccine in the speech on the Theme “Future of STI” (Science Technology and Innovation).

The programme ended with Vote of Thanks.
