Nursery 2019-20

MY FIRST DAY AT KINDERGARTEN(2ND June 2019)

Child’s first day of kindergarten is a truely momentus occasion that is bound to invite a whole flood of emotions. Special activities before and after the first day will give the child memorable moments and help understand kindergarten as a rewarding NEW PHASE OF LIFE. Children walked out with smile on their face with  “MY FIRST DAY AT KINDERGARTEN “ crowns  on their head.


RAMZAN

Eid is a festival of prayers, joy, happiness, and brother-hood. We at JSS KINDERGARTEN celebrated Ramzan on 4th  June 2019 with great fervor and excitement. Children were educated to follow the path of peace, love, and friendship. Mosques made out of glitter paper were sent as handouts to our Muslim kids.


 ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm on 6th July 2019. Children were motivated to plant more and more trees in order to make our surroundings green. To add more colour to the day colourful handouts of smiley plants made out of foam sheets were given to children. Activity teacher helped children to do group activities with a message showcasing the importance of growing plants.


FATHER’S DAY

“ A DAD IS SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO CATCH YOU BEFORE YOU FALL, WHO HOLDS YOU WHEN YOU CRY, WHO HELPS YOU AWAY FROM MAKING MISTAKES….”

Our Nursery class celebrated  FATHER’S DAY on 17TH June 2019. Teacher spoke about the importance of relationship and family values. Children were thrilled to carry cute multicoloured  “TIE POUCH handouts to gift their fathers.


RAKSHA BANDHAN

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival that celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters. Our tiny tots dressed in traditional attire. The importance of the brother-sister relationship was explained by teachers. Rakhi, which symbolizes the sister’s love and prayers for the brother’s well being was tied by girls to boys. In return boys gifted chocolates to cherish their bond of love.


INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day was celebrated in our school with a spirit of patriotism. Various competitions like Card Making, Colouring, Singing patriotic songs were conducted to instill the freedom spirit in our kids.UKG children were dressed up as freedom fighters to commemorate our brave leaders. The tricolor bird was sent as handouts and sweets were distributed among the children.


KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI

Janmashtami is a festival that denotes the birth of Lord Krishna. Nursery kids won the soul of spectators by dressing in the attire of Krishna and Radha. Shree Krishna bhajans were recited by children and teachers. Cute greeting cards of flute and dhai pot were sent as handouts.


GANESHA CHATHURTHI

JSS pre-primary section celebrated the birthday of Lord Ganesha with tremendous bliss and dedication to teaching the importance of Ganesha Chathurthi. A movie named “BAL GANESHA” was screened in the activity room. Festival celebrations not only mark fun but also facilitate learning in a unique way. These kinds of celebrations nurture our Hindu culture among children.


Gandhi Jayanthi

On the day of 2nd October our school celebrated the Gandhi Jayanthi. The day in which the person called BAPU was born. Our Principal addressed the gathering. The speech was about Gandhi and some play about his struggle for Independence was enacted followed by the song Raghu pathi Raghava Rajaram…
